Chapter Three
The day had no wasted time. Probably because even if we wanted to, there was none to waste. Their wasn't enough hours in the day for the schedule the boys had.
In the last fifteen hours, I had witnessed five interviews, four photoshoots, a meet and greet and the recording of a song that was without a doubt going to be their next big hit.
It was 11:30 and the most of a break any of us had gotten was a combined total of 40 minutes for lunch and dinner. It was typical exhuastion that had taken over every one of us, even the ones who didn't have to do much of anything. Even with their sleep deprieved eyes with bags forming underneath them and uncombed hair, no one was wearing a smile bigger than Kevin, Joe and Nick.
Who am I kidding? By this time, NO ONE was wearing a smile but them.
Our only comforting thought was that tomorrow was driving all day, with nothing to do.
We climbed into the bus, and I had only one thing on my mind: sleep.
My jeans were sliding off halfway to my closet, and I grabbed a pair of black and white sweats. I decided against changing my shirt, convinced that I would probably fall to the floor in the process.
I rolled into Kevin's bunk, seeing as mine was an impossible ten feet away. I let out a final yawn, and fell asleep only moments after I hit the matress, not even giving myself enough time to pull up the blankets.

"Bren."
I stirred.
"Brenna."
The back of a hand slid up and down my cheek softly.
I opened my eyes slowly, Nick's dark brown eyes inches from face.
He let his trademark grin envelope his face. "Hey."
I hated being woke up. I hated it more than anything in the entire world. If I had to get up and out of bed against my will, whoever or whatever was the cause of it might as well have a death wish.
But there was just something about Nick, that made it impossible for me to get angry at him unless he had really, really screwed up.
So instead, I mimicked his smile. "Hey." I peered around the dark and quiet bus. "Is it morning already?"
He shook his untamed curls from side to side. "Not exactly." His voice was just above a whisper. "I couldn't sleep."
I rubbed my blue eyes, curling my knees towards my chest. "So you want me to get up?"
His head shook again. "You don't have to move."
I buried my head into my pillow. "You're just going to sit on the ground outside my bunk?"
"No." He smirked. "I'm going to do this."
