Program of the Week #7 - Ava Find

ThatOneGuy (Administrator of http://iviuppet.com/) show's us a cool program to instantly find any file containing a certain keyword. This is similar to the Vista search function, and is almost identical to google desktop. Download is below, so try it out.

I bought this back in the day and it was great. The license sucked; after a while, you had to buy another license for another year. At least that was how it was for me; I only bought it once. They offered to have me be a beta tester before, but nothing's happened since. These days, the program's crashing all the time with a "Visual C++" runtime error for some reason. I almost always has to rebuild the database after every reboot. Never updated since 2003; not worth it now.

AvaFind Pro license key will NOT Install after purchase. No response to three service requests since 9/14/09. Good product, NO Support and No Use if/when product key fails to unlock functionality!!!!!

Have used for years, but nobody's home anymore...

Yeah, I use a program called Everything. They are basically the same thing. Very cool programs.
