@magnus56j Well you can listen to other men,or have a middleman to tell you what the bible says,but i can read the bible for myself.I believe that's the way god intended it.Isnt that the best safety net?? sticking by the word??
The protestant body of believers are united not by what men say but by what the bible says.You can introduce me to any protestant from anywhere and even if I dont know him we both will come to the same conclusions,by reading the bible.Jesus is God,we are saved by grace..

@lilbeaveymac Protestants think of themselves as infallible and make themselves their own god-man pope almighty, thinking that they themselves can infallibly interpret the Bible. Roman Catholics believe their pope almighty is infallbile. Orthodox Christians (which is what I am) do not believe any man is infallible. We instead follow the teachings of the Holy Church Fathers and their interpretation because they knew the Apostles themselves.
