  • It's METAL! Enough with the damned sub-genres for crying out loud! METAL IS METAL!!!

  • @GigaRagnaSlave different types of metal have different ethics and culture attached to them. It would be dumb to just lump all subgenres of metal as strictly "metal"

  • They are good...at least this song is lol...they sound very similar to Dimmu Borgir...lets hope they gain more listeners and in turn funding to make even greater music.

  • @Huscarlavery did you really just compare this band to Dimmu Borgir? This is two totally different genres. I think i want to vomit fire because of what you just said....

  • @embracedbyfrost are you fucking kidding me?...they're both Black Metal bands, except one adds a folk sound here and there...but if you compare them, they are similar...(at least in this song)

  • @Huscarlavery Gwydions music shares hardly any similarites to black metal.(at least on this album) i have not listened to the previous album because i thought it was quite bad. im not quite sure what kind of "black metal" you listen to if you are going to compare this to the genre. The vocals...maybe have a small similarity to a lot of bm because of the higher range. The riff structure of gwydion is nothing like BM riffs.

  • @embracedbyfrost you must be very new to metal dude. This is not black metal in the slightest. dimmu borgir can hardly even be considered BM. Compare this to bands such as Tsjuder, Taake, Emperor or Darkthrone.... there is nothing similar. This is just extreme metal with some symphonic/folk overtones.
