  • A free market will handle this is stride. Prices will increase and a greater motivation to innovate will result. That's not to say there will not be bumps. But no government can resolve this.

    You may be right. But I'll take growth over the alternate every time.

  • The almost 'fanatical' reverence for 'growth' in this video is interesting. The phenomenal economic growth over the past century has depended on cheap energy (oil). What happens when oil reserves are decreasing while at the same time these 'growing' economies are increasing their demand for it? The ivory tower economists are, I believe, facing a rude awakening.
