I'm a wizards fan, I was at this game, got so pissed about this shot... all that being said, this isn't a travel. Every time I look at comments on youtube for a basketball video they always scream about traveling. Enough already.
In basketball, you are allowed two steps and a jump. Steve francis took two steps, stopped, and then jumped for his shot. People are saying this is a travel because he brought his foot forward after he stopped, but he kept his pivot foot down until he jumped.

uh..the refs were too scared to lose the game for the knicks cuz steve francis traveled from washington all the way back to New York on that play and i just thiink that people should keep that in mind when saying he's great, cuz he coulda lost the game for the knicks on a foolish mistake, if only the refs weren't afraid of david stern getting mad at them (david stern: commish of nba, lives in new york).
