-- Ashli is a male 1½ year-old cat who was badly hurt by a kick from a construction worker around April/May of 2011. One eye swelled up and was almost disconnected from his face and his jaw was broken. He was taken to Dr. Nassrian who performed surgery, removed the damaged eye and inserted a wire in the jaw. Mrs. Mahmoudi fostered Ashley post surgery for a while and then he was transferred to a few other foster homes. In the meantime, Ashley has completely healed; his jaw has mended and the wire removed, treatment for the damaged eye has completed, and he has been vaccinated and neutered.
Ashli is a very kind, good-tempered cat with grey coloring who looks very much like the pure Kerman cats. We do not know anything about his past; he has lived indoors since his accident but loves to go out for a stroll. Due to shortage of foster care, Ashli will be without a home unless someone steps in and helps out. He has suffered much and deserves a better life. So far, he has been fostered at different homes and now is at risk of being out in the streets again.
Ashli is now in Los Angeles living with a wonderful family -- for now being fostered....in hopes to get SO under their skins that he will make it his forever home :)

I am such an animal lover. I love cats soooooooooo much. They are such sweet creatures. I am so happy you brought this cat from Iran. I hate animal cruelty. Make sure this cat gets the love he deserve every day of his life.
