have you been to the slums of delhi and bombay? streets of dhaka? the highways of mogadishu? to name a few ... yes manila is filthy like any other metros in the world but not all part of it ... makati is a part of manila but its not as filthy as you describe it ... it can be compared to singapore in terms of cleanliness ... and BTW hun its your opinion but pls get your facts right OK ... hong kong side streets smells like rat pees and cockroach too! also in beijing and shanghai ...

Manila is a likeable city but very different from the other SE Asian metros. More like Mexico City than Jakarta
