  • Obviously this is better than Queen or Pink Floyd...it's Zappa. Every single musician on this stage can out perform every member of Queen and Pink Floyd.

  • @himtroy Ilove Frank as much as anyone on the planet, but that's just a stupid comment. It's not a competition. Queen- great. Pink Floyd- great. It's not a zero sum game. Open your mind...

  • TOMMY MARS!!!!!

    Wonderful musician.

  • @himtroy Zappa's music wasn't about being "better" than other music. The fact that it is more complicated and tighter than most music of the time does not mean that it is "better." Zappa was providing original music that people would not be able to find anywhere else. Anyways, I love Zappa's music but I don't consider him to be on a pointless list...he probably didn't give a shit about that.

  • @panamaredone for sure, but Vinnie is still God

  • @Zappafan1980 every solo he played was improvised, and yes, Chad is amazing. I think he is one of the most underrated drummers around.

  • @Farksisten

very good comment man, cheers with a beer to you

Yes FZ was a genius in mixing music Styles in 1969 he mixed Jazz with Rock.

in 1975 he mixed Fusion Jazz Rock and Funk, in 1979 he mixed Glem Rock, Ragae,

But Franks secret main goal was to earn so much money with his music that he could work with Orchestras

Its hard for me to get into his orchestra music, but its still great

  • @Zappafan1980 There's only two types of music - good music and bad music. You can write a piece that's super hard to play, but it's gonna sound like absolute shit if there's no artistic cause behind it. FZ was a musical master with a very personal and unique artistic spirit and he didn't write complex music just to show off. Otherwise he wouldn't have mixed Stravinsky with '50s doo-woop.

  • @himtroy

God this tune is soo musically complex,

It makes my Brain hurt in a positive way

Its up there with, The Black Page and Sinister Footwear II and The Adventures of Gregory Peccory

Chad Wakerman is very good in improvising over Zappa Solos, Or is the Solo written i never know when i listen to Zappa

  • Awesome tune!! Love Frank Zappa!!

  • The piano player forgot to take off his antennas that morning :/
