STROKE VICTIM PLAYS AMAZING PIANO ONE HANDED!!!

Check out my friend Art Gonzales a recovering stroke victim and an amazing keyboard player. He is only able to play with one hand at the current time and has adapted quite well with his own style! He is performing Rocket Man by Elton John, Nights In White Satin by the Moody Blues and an original piece that he wrote. He has been featured in a 30 minute PBS Special and has recorded a CD of original music with his former band Distance. An Avid Moog Synth Player in the style of Rick Wakeman of Yes and Keith Emerson of Emerson Lake And Palmer. Look for more future releases of original material. my sister had a 6 1/2 hour stroke in Jan. from a bloodclot in her leg. Tonight she started playing the piano in the nursing home cafeteria with her good right hand...blew us away...I went searching for music I could purchase and found you playing...tremendous! I will share this with her. What an inspiration for my sister and our family! Thanks and keep tinkling those keys! Your great!

In daily life I cannot use my right hand because I have C.P. I'm wondering is there any limittions(sp) to playing one handed?

Art, I had an ArterioVenous Malformation rupture and destroy 40% of my right-brain. I, too, play piano with my right hand only. I would love it if you would contact me so we could talk about piano-playing techniques or specific songs that favor the right hand.
