  • I like to spell BlackBerry as CrackBerry, so this breaks the search algorithm. So knowing the search terms, or misspelling, are still crucial to truly getting the insight you need.

  • @webhat Agreed. It's important that the analytic routine take into account alternative spelling, acronyms, abbreviations, etc.. Often the analytics continue to get tweaked based on new things that are learnd while collecting data.

  • Very cool stuff! David Barnes is still a fantastic speaker, I saw the fantastic OS/2 vs NT shootout video on here and am pleased to see he's still active with other cool tech :-)

  • How does BigSheets get around analysing data in countries were governments impose internet censorship regulations? And looking at the visualisation tool, ManyEyes, how does the application accommodate for users who are colour blind or indeed who require assistive technology use?
