@nosuchpersonvideo yes...the name of show could have been dominque and should have stared her and billy-dee williams.....the problem was at that time aside from the cosby show, we had no blacks on the air in starring roles and they were not willing to take a chance.....if they had allowed dominque to behave like a true bitch i think the show would have stood a chance...

But those relatives aren't also public figures that are in the society pages every other week. Also, the Carringtons and the Colbys may not have had much to do with each other, but they move in the same circles and would have to at least run into each other every so often.

The Colbys were all wrong right from the start. I think a more interesting Dynasty spin off would have been if they took Dominique (who was never developed to her full potential) and gave her a series of her own about the music industry. Think American Idol meets Dynasty. Singing and catfights. It would have been the mega hit of the century. LOL!
