  • Its a shame to rely on government for help. No one likes the government but boy do they want its help !!!

  • I also saw the tent city in person while visiting New Orleans witt my husband last summer. Absolutely tragic. My heart just broke when I saw all of those tents and the people under I-10.

  • I actually went to tent city, and handed out care packages and bottles of water to these people. Its a shame to hear the stories. Before Katrina some of these people had a home and a job, and then after Katrina these people have to live under I-10. The government needs to do something about this. How can they sleep with all there fortune and feel good knowing that there are homeless people, its sad and it needs to stop.

  • I was in New Orleans last week, and I got the opportunity to see this up close. It is just terrible. You would think that the government would do something about that, but I guess when people really need help it doesn't come.
