And I still disagree with his decision to shoot through that triple team at the end of the TN game when he had two teammates right there, wide open

of course, a lot of players and coaches who went against him in this tourney didn't really like him. they thought for someone of his stature, he was petulant and immature, his game was more developed than his head

he's a nice guy to the media. everytime I've interviewed him, he's been pleasant

Of course, Turner is far from innocent in this exchange as we saw him make the grasping money signal with his hands to the Illinois bench in on of the overtime sessions.

(Also, in a semi-related story Purdues JaJuan Johnson drew a technical foul for allegedly saying he keeps grabbing on my sh#$t to the referee)

Now I cant verify this, but what I heard from three different people who were courtside for Illini-Ohio St. Illini freshman D.J. Richardson supposedly said If I keep spanking you, theyre going to send my black ass to jail to Turner. And Turners friend/former high school teammate Demetri McCamey added Youre going to prison.

@chisoxfan78 turner reminds me of reggie miller. during miller's first two season's, he was a bench player and later became a starter in which three years later in 1993, he was already purely athletic. turner could be like reggie in 3-4 years.
