BASICS: Blending for different eye shapes inc.Mono/hooded lid

Blending for a socketed eye & hooded eye or mono lid.
Although a hooded eye and a mono lid are different shapes neither has a visible socket. This technique works on both.

Estimated time: It should take about 20 minutes to complete both eyes including mascara and eyeliner.

I have a question. Does putting the pointy bits of the brush in your socket supposed to hurt? I got a blendy brush and tried this technique but it left my lids all red and sore, and I wasn't even pressing hard. Maybe I just got a crappy brush.. Please reply! x

It is not supposed to hurt. I suspect your brush has very harsh bristles.
