This is my favorite peice for violin. I have a friend who plays it for me, every time I catch him with a violin in his hands. Great peice.

i think it sounds particularly harsh because the quality and atmosphere sound very unrelenting. there is almost no reverb, which dampens the sound. but yes, i feel this is definitely too much vibrato for this one

Listening to this I hear so much in common with Heifitz's style, so that it seems that both learned a lot from Otakar Ševčík's school.

its faster than how everybody else plays it but i like it :)
