Kraftwerk and string instruments

Some musicians try to challenge the electronic sound of kraftwerk using
the classical instruments par excellence: violin and cello.
The results are EXCELLENT!!!

Looking for some brave musician who will dare to perform the kraftwerk in a cappella version...

1)"The Model" performed by a german string trio, Triology;
2)"The Robot" performed by italian string band, Quintorigo.

it seems that the impact to those "classical musicians" as you call them must must have been enormous so they included it to their playing list. i personally find it very interesting & pretty sure Kraftwerk will find it the same.

Really interesting.

The first one I liked, but the second one they just tried to re-produce the electronic sounds of the original using acoustic instruments.

Unlike witht he first song where they re-interpreted the song a a classical tune.
