Hey, does Live actually save for you this way? I have mine installed on Ubuntu 12.10 through Wine. The audio works, my MIDI controller works, but the save function will not work. Did you encounter this? Is there a workaround? I appreciate the help!!

I only have a Demo and Ableton Live demo can't save . ;-(

Thats good to know that it CAN be done. I wish their was a way to fix the recording delay..

After installation you can start Ableton in wine 1.3 and use JACK audio, and if it crash you might need to restart Ableton in wine 1.4 :-)
