what is chords?

I've used those chords: D (xx0230), D/E (020230), D/F# (2x0230), D/A (x02230). Then G (320033) and Em7 (022033). There's also a little bridge that I've skipped in this video, because it's a lead guitar part, and I've played only the rhythm guitar part put together with the bass guitar basic line. It must be something in key of D.

Close, the root notes for the Intro are D, F#,G,A. While Playing a D Chord over these notes.

It is D E F# A. The interval from the first to the second note is the same as the interval from the second to the third. In D F# the interval is too long and in F# G it is too short. And also F# is too high. Check out the Shields cover video. The bass player leaves his hand really high in the fretboard for the second note, there is no way that that's a low F#. Queralt used to do something like that too.
