But do bear in mind, that video quality is reduced quite significantly when uploaded to YouTube because of the video compression etc. I once recorded a video in HD and when I uploaded it to YouTube, it pretty much sucked. So considering that this camera still retained a lot of that quality is pretty impressive.

did you use manual focus? Ive got the same camera but find it really hard to manual focus

Hi - no filters were used when I have enough time I'll write up a detailed account of the shoot. Lenses inlcuded 70-200 2.8 & the impressive 300mm F2.8 - I also used stock canon lenses. The 60D has a 1.6x crop factor (not full frame) so your focal lense will be longer making wide lenses less effective - however the camera is capable of amazing results with attention to detail, the right set-up and careful balancing of the exposure.
