Magrath Elevator Fire July 2006 CTV.wmv

A hot summer day in July of 2006, as a local crew of workers use a controlled burn to demolish a building near an operational grain elevator in Magrath Alberta Canada. The wind took over and pushed the flames into the elevator. As I drove from Lethbridge to shoot this video I could see the flames and smoke from Lethbridge city limits. I parked the news van and set up on the tripod to roll tape, and about 30 seconds later the elevator fell. I removed the audio as my words at the time were best not repeated.
