Why Compare Those Dominating Singers With Suman Ji ??? They Didn't Let Other Talented Singers Make Their Career ??? Lata's Own Sister, Asha Bhosle Is A Rebel Herself !!! Lata Wouldn't Sing A Duet With Sulakshna Pandit, Hemlata, etc. Had Tantrums Singing With Rafi Saab !!! To Me Suman Kalyanpur Was The BEST And Remains So Even Till Today !!!

@Milahi1935 Lata ji is the only singer who can equally sing on all the three saptaks, and it is a god gift to her she has only practiced a lot but this is due to God's grace. No living or dead , male or female singer in any music industry has this ability and it is famous for her that as long as latadi is the singer you do not have to care for notes whether low or high, just because of this very well known fact. That is why she is called an extraordinary and exceptional singer.

Thank you Jani Baboo for starting this tune with high notes. Suman had the ability to take her voice very high and not become shrill. She was unique in this respect. Most of the music composed by the composers of her era was had medium and low notes as Lata could not sing the high notes. Hence we missed a lot of great tunes because they would not give Suman many songs, specially with high notes. Indian music would have been much better if Suman had sung ten thousand songs, instead of the 740 th
