regurgitation of actually boring technique... and lets face it. the kits actually sound bad. no electronic kit could ever replace an acoustic one...and specially the toms sound really robotic

Those cymbals are just awful. I hope they can upgrade to multisamples or synthesis: given that it's electronically impossible to sample all FM and intermodulation of course.

No point in comparing to the real thing, they're a different animal.

I love the sound of v-drums and I agree they sound real if you make them sound real. If you have v-drums that don't, mess with the settings.

Omar's kit sounds real enough to me. There is something about the cymbal sounds that always made me crave real thing though. Thats why I use real cymbals with my v-drums.
