  • I haven't even done one cutting this year... just tubers for me this year. Cuttings have always grown fabulous flower but here I appreciate the tuber crop and don't have the time to make too many cuttings. I hope your dedicated work helps you do wonderfully at the shows David! dahlianutkaren ps are you on water meters over there>

  • @dahlianutkaren We have a choice here and with all the dahlias i choose not to have one. Would cost a fortune.

  • Each Variety I Grow because i feel it is got the potential to gain the most points in the Terry Clarke. Daves Choice may have its faults in stem strength and habit, but if you can get over this it will take points off Marys Jomanda. I will explain in a bit more detail on the next Video which should be live by Thursday Morning. By the way the only Small Cactus i am growing is Oakwood Goldcrest which is i believe your profile picture.

  • Excellent fascinating. I have been exhibiting dahlias at County level 17 years. One thing I learnt from your film was that where the stem tapers and meaning the dahlia has checked regards potting on.

What do you do in deciding which varieties to grow.

    Paul

  • Well done David looks good nice to see you are taking things seriously. Ian
