The Kenya National Commission on Human Rights has supported the ICC chief prosecutor Luis Moreno Ocampos move to seek approval to open investigations into the post election violence. Commission secretary Hassan Omar says the move will end impunity in the country and prevent a recurrence of violence in Kenya. Following Thursdays events, the commission now says the government must fully co-operate with the ICC and show commitment in instituting reforms.

  • According to the look of things happening in kenya, impunity is there to stay and we have proved to the world that it is a culture amongst us.

  • It's a circus..finally we're all dead anyway!

  • That what I meant, politicians are playing ping pong with our heads. Mutula says Ocampos should prosecute, then Raila says he want the hague option, Then Kibaki and Raila says that suspects will be delt with locally. Now which is which? Is Ocampos visit a good time to bury the bad news. You see the Wako visa saga has been forgotten.
