(Con't..) believes that anything you do,you should do well.That said,anyone who plays should understand the talent of individuals like Joe Satriani and the other members of Chickenfoot.These guys,along with bands like Airbourne,have re-discovered Rock & Roll.. it's been a long time coming! If you don't like it because there's no 'shredding,tapping,or superfast guitar work',or some guy 'growling' into a mic,then don't listen!I don't slag what others listen to.If I don't like it,I don't listen.

Unfortunately,Valorian has it right (see above).Musicians such as Satriani,Gilmour, Clapton,Vai,and others of that particular school of music have no need to 'shred'-'tap'-or play super fast arpeggios,but would be quite capable should the need ever arise,although I doubt they would do so.I've been a musician for over 35 yrs, mostly bass and drums (Dble kick Sonors/Sabian), and play guitar as well but will not reach the level of those named above.I am a professed metalhead/hard rocker who (con't.
