Yes, speeding is against the law. But anyone whos done defensive driving knows 'speeding' was never the problem, its the 'method' of how you hit the breaks.

Sexist ad that doesnt actually show anyone speeding. Everyone needs to realise that speed cammeras do lower the road toll, but at a much slower rate that REAL counter measures do. Look at some of the european countries (Eg Finland) and see what their road tolls are... proof that driver training, education, higher speed limits and rebates on safer cars is what we need, NOT ANOTHER FINE!

@SCREWOFFWEREFULL To Right, I like what Poland I think Does, Before you can obtain your Licence they have a mandantory Driving course where you learn to control a car On Wet Roads (ie Skid pan) and Defensive Driving and they must Pass at least 50 hours before they can Proceed to Drive Solo.
That'll be a good System to Be Brought in Australia Wide instead of these 120 hours etc in NSW for L plater's and 3 years minimum on your P's (reds and Greens) for that it take's 4 years minimum

But it is never safe on a public road. If you want to drift, drag etc etc, fine. Go to a track. And I agree with you that drivers that can successfully drift would be skilled in an accident. But stop verbally insulting the rest of us with 'doof doof' rice burners. It's so not cool.
