  • I work in a grocery store as a cashier, we have people that try to get 40 of the same product. Unfortunately for them, we have a quantity limit of 10, ahahah. I hate it when people don't understand why we have a limit.

  • If zombies end up running the world, just find an extreme couponer, you'll be able to survive there for a good few years.

  • Do Cashiers Do Couponing too?

  • i think this hobby is better than facebook lol ;p

  • shes definetly a smart shopper

  • @hgib3 it's just my opinion so you could relax a little.

  • @bren4299 I'm not an extreme couponer but I do coupon and I never have any problems with the cashiers. Why would you hate to ring out these people? Would it not be your job to do so if you were a cashier, that is why cashiers are hired? I normally hear from the cashier, "I really need to coupon, too, you did a really good job!" (Just a little food for thought.)

  • @KripDrip The stores always mark up the prices on everything they sale (sometimes ridiculously high) but the manufacturers will reimburse the stores for every coupon they send in plus an additional 8 cents per coupon. Next time you see a store coupon take a close look at the fine print and you will see the redemption info. plus the additional 8 cents.

  • @Kraly87 Obviously you don't use coupons then. There are many stores that will double or triple the value of the coupons up to a certain amount and if the item is on sale plus the person uses their coupons then they could be earning credit towards the other items in their shopping cart. Unfortunately my area doesn't have stores that double or triple. Many times there are coupons that will meet or exceed the purchase price of that item when it goes on sale.

  • @powerfulnun one per purchase means one coupon for every product you buy. Your overall shopping trip is called a transaction, you purchase many "products" in one transaction.

If a coupon says "per purchase" then you can buy many of them.

If a coupon says "one per customer or one per transaction" than you can only purchase ONE of that product on each shopping trip.

Couponing only works when everyone plays by the rules of the store and the companies. Unfortunately not everyone does.

  • @powerfulnun One per purchase doesn't mean one per transaction, its one per item purchased.
