This music sounds a lot more like the REGULAR Ridley's theme. Albeit, with Meta's instruments.

As for Other M, its a love-it or hate-it type of game. Some people didnt like the controls from the START, so you can see why they automatically hate the rest of it. I love the game, though not as much as Super Metroid and the Prime games. I especially like the story of Other M too.

@elvampe13 Aint NOTHING slow about omega ridley's theme :P but other m in my opinion was awesome. It's like a combination of the two types of metroid games (which I personally think is awesome). It's gotten some tough criticism, though. Guess some people don't like the mix as well. On another completely different note, I can't wait for black and white (should be obvious what I mean by my name XD)

@PokemonMysteryX Well, that's your opinion, and you have every right to it.

I know that a lot of people, including me, can still clearly hear the entire classic theme in this version (its slowed down, like Neo Ridley's), not just similarities, and thus we still consider it tied to the other Ridleys.

On a different note, how did find the game Other M? No spoilers, i havent finished it yet :D.

@elvampe13 Yeah but omega Ridleys is way off of the usual, more so than any other remix. You're right you can hear some similarities, but just barely. Its so far gone it's just omega Ridleys theme, it can't count as being tied to other Ridleys, which is to be expected cause Ridley has been technologically advanced and heavily mutated by that point.

@PokemonMysteryX Omega Ridley's theme is, like Neo Ridley, a distorted version of his normal theme. Omega Ridley is heavily exposed to Phazon, the mutagenic substance. And i dont know about you, but I can clearly hear the similarities between the original theme and Omega's.

To be exact, this type of remix is usually associated with Meta Ridley. Very remixed and you can hear the technology behind it (not really the wording I want, can't think of anything else) which is attributed to his Meta part. Which is why normal Ridley themes sound closer to the original, neo Ridley (Ridley-X) has one kinda strange sounding to the original, which is to be expected. Although I'm not sure where omega Ridley's comes from though, cause it really doesn't sound like the original.
