During the resupply of Neumayer Base, a helicopter shuttle allowed a visit by the passengers of Polarstern. The station is build inside the shelf-ice and these 'dungeons of Antarctica' are now eleven meters below the surface of the ice. On white icefield above only some stairwells, ventilation shafts and a garage exit give evidence of the human life below. In a deserted phoneboot André makes a dreamtalk to his loved one at home. The signpost to far destinations around the globe invites a dance of joy, as if it was bringing us home for Christmas.
