@Gheorgyi I can't remember what eppy is was but Festus referred to Ruth as "him". I think he was talking to Newly and Newly was surprised Festus said him talking about Ruth.

@CarolJean65 And a lot of happiness to both. Although, if "Ruth" is a MALE mule ("him"), that gives food for thought about Festus' sexual orientations... In those times, there were still no "equal opportunities", "gay rights" and "pride", etc. ... No criticism, let's live with the times. But in THOSE times... ;-).

The eye-bolt through the hitching post Matt was handcuffed to was held by a six-sided nut. Six-sided nuts weren't invented yet, as well as socket wrenches to tighten them. No, four-sided square nuts were about it until after WW2. Kinda makes one wonder about who had a ratchet wrench and socket set in the mid 1800's.
