I spoke to the BC Ombudsman Office and this is what they said to me, " What do you want us to do about it ?". That was several years ago.

basically, what can they do? everyone complains to them about the ministry but the ministry is much more powerful than people think.

Jane Clark did not lie. Social workers are really above law and do not have to do what judges order. Judges can order a return of children to parents. Social workers have the power to remove them again right after without any fresh evidence. They are more powerful than the Premier. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. This warrants changes at all costs.

It has been a year if not longer and I am still fighting against the MCFD

I belive that parents need to pull together To parents who have lost custody to the MCFD and have been treated unfairly or parents who are fighting the MCFD we need to pull together in order to have a collective voice to achieve a change mabye no protest or just posting will inicate a change but if enough parents pull together the government has to take notice!

Social workers can lie, cheat and steal children with impunity. They 'lose' their notes and tamper with records. They leave children with abusive adopters and foster parents, but treat loving natural parents like dirt. They can permanently separate babies and children from their own mothers and give them to strangers and pedophiles. They can't substantiate their pat, simplistic theories and have caused untold harm, yet are still allowed to play God. There's no excuse for it.

WE need to start a petition and pass it aaround on facebook. To demand that workers be registered like nurses and doctors are. This will make workers accountable and give us leverage to make this stop

contact the government they say take it up with their supervisor, but they're all FRIENDS with their bosses so when you call in a complaint they tell the worker you're trying to cause shit and throw all your concerns out the window. good social workers are few and far between most go on rumours and gossip then fill the rest of the court forms with flat out lies. KIDS pay the price and grow up to be royally FUCKED UP i was one of them, this needs to STOP for our kids future!!!
