I know that I am a Melanie and Dario fan, but I have moved on from then since he left a while ago and Melanie found someone new. I love Chad (well, he is a Dimera) and I love Melanie! She's changed, and she really proved to the fans that she really did change. As for Abigail and her friendship with Melanie; it isn't Melanie OR Chad's fault that they love each other - not at all. It's just like Taylor and EJ - they loved each other, but they couldn't keep away from each other. Nicole was angry when she found them kissing, and she was actually mad at them for loving each other! Jeez. I love Abigail so much, and I really like Kate playing the role as her. I wish Melanie and Abigail could be friends, and Melanie could still be with Chad. Even thought how frustrating it is, friends come first, not boyfriends. I hope that TPTB take the writing in a good direction for the three of them.
