I was extremely lucky to catch the horns the way I did. The timing for the Elation was almost incredible. The time of departure for these ships vary all over the place. The Elation now anywhere from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. This winter when there are more ships I'll see what I can do.

ok, you should (when you have time) look up cruises in all cruise lines departing from san diego and write them down. the departure time you see on the intinerary, just take 30-40 minutes off and that should be the time for the muster drill

I've done that, using the Port's website ( sandiegocruiseport ). The departure times were inaccurate. Now departure times are not listed. Cruise times have been an hour off. It would be nice to repeat the success I had with my voice over coming in right before the horn sounded! The clips I posted were not edited. I do plan to try again when activity picks up. My goal is to "collect" different ship horn sounds, not repeats. We are only a week away from ships besides the Elation departing!

For the past few months the only ship leaving the port has been the Elation. In the next few weeks we'll have Radiance of the Seas, Ryndam, Westerdam, Veendam, Statendam, etc.
