This is the first shot from the shoulder of the 2 Bore Jones Underlever Black Powder Cartridge Rifle. This gun is actually left handed(I can shoot left handed, but I'm right eye dominate), so for load and sight work I am shooting it right handed. Currently it is hitting 6" high at 25 yards with the 300gr FFg charge. I put a couple more shots through it today but the camera didn't want to cooperate so you only get the one shot for now. I'll post more videos as I get the load developed and the sights finished.

  • also how much did your two bore rifle cost? like $10,000 or $15,000

  • @drewnickel

I loaded it up to 500gr FFg for a few shots just to see what it was like, it was a lot of recoil but nothing I couldn't handle. I never loaded it clear up to 700gr's, the customer I built it for requested that it be sighted in for 350gr charges, so that is what it is set up for.

If you would like a price quote on one of my rifles, please go to my website and either email or call me to discuss it.

    Thank you

  • lol nice smoke ring at 0:39, try the max load of 700gr in it some time. but make sure to hold on tight

  • I do believe you are ready for your first Tyrannosaurus hunt, my good man!

    Major kudos.

  • @brianszoo 3500gr ball, and that's a 300gr charge, less than half what it's meant for. it is meant to handle 700gr charges. picture what that monster would look like with that kind of load

  • Very Cool!! Craftsmanship at its finest!! Thanks for sharing!

  • Awesome Colin, very impressive!
