Hi, I have a more serious problem, my /efs folder is totally empty :-( Please help me out restoring it. Can you please share the efs backup with generic IMEI, I can use that to at least start using my phone as a phone after all...

I need to restore my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S 2 Epic 4G Touch back to stock.. Sprint settings, SO I can sell it on ebay, and the next owner can activate it on Sprint network. I had a bad flashing experience with a guy on youtube, and just want to be done with it. This will work for my phone? I see some comments about it, just not sure.

Arghhhhhhhh!!!!!! Should have tried this before I really screwed my phone up!!!!!! Honestly, I didn't think this would work at all on my s2, but it works like a charm! Editing hex values works on s2!! Thank you very much! Although I lost some data before trying out this method, but I'm happy enough that I don't have to send my phone to Samsung.

Hey did you tried with a S2? the phone doesnt read the Sim card and doesnt show the IMEI.

hi there, Q:my cellphone is nor receiving signal (it shows as if it had no coverage) this happened to me on Dec27ish and 2 weeks ago I found out that it was my local carrier who had blocked it since I didn't buy it from them. I brought the receipt and they unblocked it. it was working fine again and this last Monday, it stopped receiving signal once more. I took it today to my carrier's office and it has not been blocked by them, it appears unblocked...any ideas??
