I wouldn't send my worst enemy to that surgeon! No gloves? Wound isn't healed properly... wound dehiscence coming right up, any minute now! Really?? A Kleenex to clean a surgical wound??? I didn't know the Kleenex factory is producing sterile snot rags. Finally, removing staples should feel almost like a pinch; definitely should not hurt! She's clearly having more pain than just a pinch! Yikes!
