I know the trade winds go right around the globe so all will see some radiation but no one is talking about Hawii, Alaska, The whole island of Japan really should be evacuated. Send them to the outback until Japan gets this figured out. Shut down all nuclear power plants. 20,000 years is too long for waste to be unsafe and building up. 1/3 of all sealife could die from this. Maybe 1/3 of all human life.

@shadowbender Radiation is so safe that those reactors dont even need containment vessels. They could just lower the reactor into a large open pool to boil that water. Much simpler and cheaper and the operators would not have to go through the rigmarole of that complicated charging routine. They could just fish the fuel assemblies out with a cheap crane and lower the fresh ones in ; )

You didn't read all of it did you? You read the first couple of sentences and said "see I'm right". How the fuck do you expect to learn something if you don't bother to look? Scroll down to "Plutonium Toxicity". Specifically paragraph 5 that starts with "There is no direct evidence for plutonium-induced cancer in humans" read that and read a few paragraphs after that. Did I make it easy enough for you? I know reading can be hard.
