We release them. Its not that uncommon to catch sharks out of our kayaks. But if your not sure of what you are doing, I would not recommend it. There are a lot of sharks below you and I've had them eat jacks out of my hand and brush my knuckles while they did it. Most don't like the way us humans taste, thats why they are always letting go.
