On the Thursday, May 5, 2011 edition of Talking Show (大話新聞), host Cheng Hung-yi (鄭弘儀) and the panel discussed the discrepancies between how President Ma Ying-jeou (馬英九) uses the word "Taiwan" before elections and the things he does to Taiwan (the word *and* the country itself) afterward.
Examples include Ma talking about caring for Taiwan during his 2008 presidential campaign, but removing Taiwan from the Presidential Office web site, the official name of the post office, and so many other places shortly after taking office.
Now that the 2012 presidential campaign has begun, Ma has already switched back to his (pretending to) "care about Taiwan" mode, using the slogan 「台灣加油,讚!」, or "Go Taiwan! Yay!" (The last word is an exclamation of praise or support.) It's actually a very bad pun that sounds like 「台灣加油站」, or "Taiwan gas station." The slogan also quite easily morphs into 「台灣加油,漲!」 (in reference to rising gas prices):

Taiwanese voters, don't get fooled again!
Also remember why Ma's 3 noes (「不獨、不武、不統」 or "no independence, no unification, and no use of force") are BS: He's pro-unification; he doesn't speak for independence activists; and only China wants to use force:

Trivia: I think this is the first day Talking Show used their new graphics. Check 'em out!
