    tell that to the Grammy's, ACM's and CMA's and the Grand Ole Opry. Clearly she is country otherwise she wouldn't be nominated and a member of the Grand Ole Opry - listen to the rest of Carrie's albums and you will hear that she is country.

    amen - some people are so close minded as to what fits into a genre that they can't look at the instrumentation and lyrical content - "country" has changed a lot since the 60's - it's called evolution. Just enjoy the music regardless of genre.

    And the Grand Ole Opry, ACM's and CMA's wouldn't include her in the nominations and inductions if she wasn't "country".
