The Great Maratha, Directed/Produced by Sanjay Khan, aired on DoorDarshan sometime in the mid 1990's. It was a magnum opus based on life of mighty Maratha general, Mahadji Shinde. Mahadji was instrumental in re-instating the Maratha power in north India after Maratha debacle in Third battle of Panipat in 1761. His power also kept the emerging British power at bay for more than two decades.
Ripped from the 10 DVD set of this serial which I bought recently. I shall upload more clip as time passes.

the entire series is around 38-40 hours. Dividing that into 10 minutes clips and then uploading each on youtube is process, which anyone would understand to be a time consuming one. many have said to upload it here on youtube. But with two jobs, and 5 core college courses, i really dont have time to do all that .. That's the reason why i uploaded the series on mediafire and included the instructions how to download the episodes.

I tried to download them, however the format wont let me play them. I have tried with VLC player and others, but same problem.

Could you recomend anything?

well the files that you may have downloaded are not the actual video file as such .. they are part (split parts) of the big 2GB avi file. follow the instructions on the website to join all the split parts for single DVDRip to get the actual video file. use jdownloader to avoid all this confusion ...

OK guys, i have started to rip the dvds so that i can upload them somewhere .. I need ur help (more of ur suggestions actually) before i make the links available for all of u to download.

1.) should i include English subtitles hard cored in the video file ?

2.) i have ripped DVD 1 with file size 2GB. I can upload it to rapidshare after splitting it in mutiple parts. but many users lacking a rapidshare pro account wont be able to download it in one go. any any website suggestions ??

@vbkurhade Tipu Sultan was a bit bad.But Great Maratha had good cast like Pankaj Dheer,Mukesh Khanna,Parikshit Sahni etc.They were good actors at that time.You can't suggest better actors than these even during any of the TV years.
