30 second Trailer of Simple Wishes, a short independent documentary created by student filmmakers about the current issue of family and children homelessness in Los Angeles. It documents homeless children and the compelling lives of four families that lived and are now surviving this horrific problem.
The documentary first states how Los Angeles has the fifth largest economy in the world; and it is the 2nd most populated metropolis in the nation. Los Angeles is also the nations homeless capital, containing no less than 17, 000 homeless children. The issue needs to be brought out to the public because it is a great tragedy. With only approximately 16,000 beds for the general homeless population, according to Imagine L.A., that isnt even enough for the homeless children alone. In one of the richest cities, in one of the richest states, in one of the richest country of the world, what is one human life worth?
