Hi, dear fellow. I'm an English teacher too, here in Brazil. Loved the video. Very educational. There's another interesting phenomenon that happens to the "t", when in the middle of a word, in Amerian English phonology. That is, when the "t" is preceded by "s" or "n" in words such as "restless" and "accountability". It happens when it isn't a stress syllable. I guess it is the same about the phenomena listed in the vid. I guess it happens to the "d" too. Hope we can talk a bit more.Ciao.
