First of all thank you.you are very helpful. I just started a Blog over the weekend not because i wanted to, my teacher force the class to write each week for class point.:( and I just find out what's a blog and no I don't life under a rock it just that never catch my eyes.

A blog is just a kind of website, a way of organizing content. Your explanation is good. Disagree that blogs aren't referenced long-term. I have blog posts untouched for years that get visitors every day. Also disagree slightly on styling. If you know css and php, it's incredibly easy to change the appearance and navigation structure of a blog. A good blog is one part of a much bigger site.

Agree. I would really like to re-do this video at some point because I have changed my opinion of blogs the more I use them.

I actually know someone who makes most of her money from YouTube and has no blog. But she has nearly 30,000 subscribers and over 150 videos. She makes most of her money from the YouTube partner program. So if you can become popular on YouTube you can do very well with video only.
