  • i dont mean to be rude but you dint have to be "posh" to look meodern in 1985 im not posh and my sister and i had a good sense of style and we came from a housing estate but were not scrubbers thankfully..well i suppose everthing is subjective lolll...

  • Sorry, Quick and lame question: posh means wealthy, right (Please spare the American)? If so than your absolutely right. Most of the best fashion comes from those with a modest earning anyway. Punk and New Wave for example. Both were "working Class" genres, and were the last word in fashion.

  • This is true. Its amazing when you look back on these and see how inovative a time it was. Fresh is the word. You might even say 85-88.

  • The girl behind the counter is kinda cute too, if I may be so bold:)

  • I know. It Blows the mind really.

  • WOW!!!

  • lol i meant 1981!!!!!!!sure the 1980s is when all the very hi tech modern contempoary shapes were experimented with until every one decided they wanted to look boring 80s ish 70s in the 90s up til now lol...

  • thank you abre2 youreright!1 most of the girls at my school really were very modern i have to say for a bunch of common trollops lol...none of then had lady di hair or flicks they all had concaved bobs with razor sliced fringes in 1985 with copper and pum and red and blonde stripey effects ..i liked it...I always wanted to look like donna mills knots landing circa 1891 though lol at the time cause i liked her long fringy hairstyle hehe.

  • That was when nearly every girl was nice and clean, prim n proper, posh, etc. There are some still out there but the mid era of the 80s really had that style. 85-86

  • it looks highly modern in 85..
