Hi.

when i click shift / restore

it brings up the new window but it wont let me click anything i just loads any ideas or help

Hey,

Make sure that the 3.0 firmware is on your desktop then do the shift restore in iTunes and navigate to your desktop in the pop up box. Here you should then see the 3.0 firmware. click on it and hit open.

i have a iphone,i am doin everything you said and i tried both of the bypass things...like when i do wat u tell me to do, it just says iphone in the center screen...like when its loading...i let it load for like 3 hours and it was still there please help me...im on a mac will do anything if u help me.

Hey,

Did you read the annotation at the beginning? This method has been confirmed by other people that it does not work on iPhones. You can downgrade to 2.2.1 again by following the video response above.

Yer the dev team have announced that the 3.0 software will be fully jailbreakable on all devices.

Restore the iPod normally and retry, if you have your iPod or iPhone Jailbroken, that could be the reason why

George, or anyone else that wants to try it.

When you get to the developer message... Try putting the iPhone 3G into airplane mode first. I have a feeling the phone is able to connect to make that check just with 3G or Edge networking. Give it a try and let me know.
