Here is a classic monologue by the great George Dzundza in a very underrated and little known Robert Altman masterpiece, "Streamers", who was also very memorable in The Deer Hunter (1978) and The Beast (1988). In this scene, Cokes drunkenly describes a bizarre car accident that he'd had early in the evening with his buddy, Rooney. He doesnt know that Rooney was just stabbed to death by a psychotic soldier named Carlisle a few moments before.
