so your saying that you only caulked the new window to the vinyl siding outside? no flanges... lemme ask you a question.. did you do that because the old windows were recessed compared to the siding outside? my house has the old asbestos shingles that were original to the house still in place - but covered with a layer a foam insulation and vinyl siding on top. so the old windows dont sit flush with the vinyl siding since they are under the original shingles. did you have the same issue?

lololol that a wood blade in his saw, I like seeing guys work like this....keeps me busy

also remember older houses contain lead. useing a torch could cause lead poisening. also why use the saw zaw if you dont cut all the way threw the frame. also use a pry board when pryin the frame out. just a start hit me up if you need windows installed!!!!!!!!!!!

Al =$0.80/lb. (today)
e.t. =5min for a frame that weighs less that 1 lb,
12*.8*<1=<$9.60/hour?!
i thought i was hard up!
you're one desperate mellonfarmer,
@ least you haven't hocked your sawzall.

why heat the glass?? i understand heating the frame to soften the tape but heating glass and then pushing it out with your fingers is asking for trouble, its only 3mm, just some advice for anyone trying to attempt this!

You should stop drugs.
i was so disappointed when you cut the video off without showing how you installed the new window. these are the exact windows i want to replace in my house and there are hardly and good videos showing the enitre process.. did you just screw the new window in, and caulk the outside of the window around the new frame to the vinyl siding outside? i cant get past the thought of there being no flange outside to keep out water... if you have the rest of install taped can u post it please?

@kctyphoon Thare are many styles of windows, some with flanges some without. In this situation I have cut off flanges - so that they can be seated at the right depth. After doing this I secure the window with thin stainless screws from the inside. Make sure the screws don't impede the slider areas. Use lots of caulk and weather seal before triming over!
