United Express (Shuttle America) IAD-JFK landing ERJ-170

United Express flight 400 to JFK from IAD. Short flight, but was delayed over 2 1/2 hours due to ATC at JFK we were supposed to depart at 4:45 from IAD but didn't leave until about 6:30 (18:30-18:45) this was a long day for me, I flew from PHX-IAD-JFK then my friend and I drove that night down to Baltimore, my day started at 2 AM PST and ended 1:15 EST, my first flight from PHX-IAD we left at 7:50 AM on an Airbus A-319, it was a long day. By the way, I live in Prescott, AZ which is 2 hours from PHX and I took a shuttle from Prescott to PHX which left at 3:00 AM to head to the shuttle place and then leave from the shuttle place to PHX at 4 AM which got me to Sky Harbor at about 5:45 AM.

This was a hard landing, now I'm not criticizing the pilots for it, i've had my share of bad landings but I just had to mention it, what's shown on the video doesn't compare to how it felt, I actually slammed my camera on the window when this happened you can kind of hear it. On my trip back to PHX I flew non-stop on US Airways on an Airbus A320 and let me tell you, nearly missing my flight because of nobody at the ticket counter for their first flight of the morning, sitting in the very back in a middle seat next to a heavy set women with a screaming baby throwing food all over the floor during severe turbulence and head sets that I spent $5.00 on that didn't work in the jack made for a TERRIFIC flight:-) oh wait did I say terrific I mean a flight of terror!

Also during my United Airlines flights the flight attendants on this flight to JFK yelled at some of the passengers before we left... me being one of those passengers... NFUA NFUS

People dont get that when it comes to the FAA and all these requirments they make flight attendant do for saftey, ITS A HUGE DEAL, ive seen people get fined for not following crew member instructions...truse me...i work for shuttle america.

as a person who wants to work in the airlines and knows a tons of people in the airlines, I can understand a person doing their job. But, as an employee of the airline you are required to treat your passengers with respect and courtesy. That wasn't the case with this flight crew. That's my complaint with flying United, they're flight crews were very rude. I've flown many times before and some flights were pretty crazy but the FA's still treated the PX with respect. These FA's didn't.

Just to let you know... the flight attendent isnt hired by United.. Their hired by shuttle america. you can complain to United to a point because shuttle america is to the blame for this.

wasn't trying to make it sound like I was mad at United, I know the difference... but at the same time, my United flight from PHX to IAD wasn't the most courtious flight either so...

they truly are small... smaller than I thought on the inside... but they are spacious when nobody else is on board... Luckily this wasn't a full flight, they actually had to rearrange us because of weight and balance.
